#Waikapu Stream

Stream Monitoring Equipment to be Installed at ʻĪao and Waikapū

The commission will install data loggers to provide continuous monitoring of stream levels at two locations along the ʻĪao waterway; and one location along Waikapū Stream. The action comes as the commission continues oversight for implementation of the Nā Wai ʻEhā Interim Instream Flow Standards.

Maui Flood Map Changes Could Impact Insurance Rates

On Maui, the revised map reflects two new flood studies of areas around Keokea and Waikapū Streams. The Maui meeting will run from 3 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 9 at the Kīhei Community Center, with a presentation at 5 p.m.
