Water Department Secures Permanent Status of Wākiu Well C

The Hawaiʻi State Department of Health Safe Drinking Water Branch has granted final approval in designation of the new Wākiu Well C as a permanent water source.

East Maui Continues Use of Wākiu Well C

As required by the State Department of Health, the Department of Water Supply is informing the public of the continued use of Wākiu Well C.

Wākiu Well Remains Emergency Water Source in East Maui

Full approval is anticipated in late Feb 2017. Wākiu Well C continues to be used as the water source for Hāna School, Hāna Med Ctr, Wainʻāpanapa and ʻUakea Rd.
