Climate experts say the Hawaiian Archipelago is starting to feel the effects of coral bleaching as a result of coral sensitivity due to a rise in the ocean temperature.

Images collected will be used to gain a comprehensive understanding of the health of Hawaiʻi’s corals. Findings will also help scientists better understand and monitor the potential impact of environmental and human stress factors on coral recovery in the future.
