Japengo will host a sushi/sake dinner on April 22nd, the first in a monthly series of dinner pairings.

Japengo, West Maui’s new Pacific Rim and sushi lounge at Hyatt Regency Maui, will host a monthly dinner series starting Friday, April 22nd.

Every third Friday of the month the eatery will feature a new, themed prix fixe tasting menu of Pacific Rim cuisine paired with fine wines and spirits. This month, a sushi and sake combination prepared by Executive Chef Matt Smith and Sushi Chef Jay Ledee will highlight premier sake alongside innovative Japengo dishes. See menu below.

The evening of indulgence, which starts at 6pm, will include sake pairing notes and gifts to take home. As an extra incentive for participating, Hyatt Regency Maui will donate a percentage of proceeds from all tickets sold to the Visitors Industry Charity Walk.

Cost of the sushi/sake dinner is $125 per person. Japengo is located within Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa at 200 Nohea Kai Drive on Kaanapali Beach. For more information about the series call 808-276-0755.
