The Maui Historical Society offers a summer lauhala weaving class at the Bailey House Museum in Wailuku.  The six-week session will be led by kumu Pohaku Kaho`ohanohano, who has been teaching weaving for 17 years.

Participants will learn to weave their own lauhala project under the guidance of Kaho`ohanohano.

Classes will be held on Wednesdays from July 13 to August 17, 2011 between 6 and 8 p.m.  The class size is limited to 12 people.  Cost is $60 for Maui Historical Society members and $65 for non-members.
