BRIEF: Kalama Skatepark Closes for Repairs

The Kalama Skatepark in Kihei will close for repairs beginning next week Monday, October 17, 2011.
The repairs will continue through Friday, October 28.
County Parks officials say the repairs are needed because of the wear and tear at the facility from general use.

To ensure safety, the public is asked to stay out of the skatepark during the repair period.
