Below is a collection of photos from Halloween 2011 events in Paia, including Freeradicals Projekt’s live performance at Charley’s, the Howl 1031 “Speak-easy” Costume Dance Party at Moana Cafe, and some of the best costumes spotted on Baldwin Avenue.

The night began with rain, so several pedestrians ducked into restaurants and bars to keep their costumes in-tact. As a result, most Paia restaurants were packed throughout the night until closing.

The weather did not, however, keep trick-or-treaters from visiting residential streets in Paia earlier in the evening. At intervals, costumed pedestrians filled both Baldwin Ave. and Hana Hwy., but by 10 p.m. most party-goers were grouped at Moana Cafe and Charley’s.
