Solo Sessions with Keali‘i Reichel, Nov. 18 & 19, 2011

World-renowned recording artist Keali‘i Reichel is the featured performer in the MACC’s Solo Sessions series.

Aside from his singing voice, Reichel is also an accomplished chanter, and award-winning kumu hula.

See another side of Reichel in the intimate setting of the McCoy Studio theater at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center as he shares the mana‘o behind his mele.

The storytelling solo session features mele and discussion,  including a live performance of “In My Life” played in Reichel’s inimitable style.

The Solo Sessions will take place Friday and Saturday, November 18 and 19 beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are $35 for general admission, and $65 for VIP tickets, (plus applicable fees) which include a post-show meet-and-greet opportunity.
