Up near the clouds in Kula, Maui vines and its bunch of grapey gems find their soul mate in Maui gold pineapples. While many people may have already been through the tasting room and sampled their bottle stock, there are some edible creations that may be worth a little investigation.

Made with Maui Blanc white wine, the white macadamia nut chocolates called Pineapple Snow, is very sweet, with unmistakable overtones of pineapple. The wine penetrates the white chocolate and the finish is slightly waxy.

There are local salts from Moloka’i, which vary in color and flavor. Alae red salts, coral, and black salt and rubs can be found in the quaint store. Flavored sugars such as mango and vanilla are also available.
