A memorial fund has been established in honor of US Senator Daniel K. Inouye, at the request of family members.

The fund, established through the Hawaii Community Foundation, will be used to help organizations and causes that Senator Inouye supported over the years.

Contributions to the Daniel K. Inouye Fund can be made by mail to: Hawaii Community Foundation, 827 Fort Street Mall, Honolulu, HI 96813. Donations are also being accepted through the Hawaii Community Foundation website.

“All of us at the Hawaii Community Foundation had the privilege of working closely with the senator and his staff and witnessing the tremendous leadership and inspiration he provided to so many,” foundation officials stated on their website. “Beyond the legacy of what he did for our community, we will miss his courage, grace and humor.”
