Effective Friday, Nov. 1, individuals of legal drinking age on the Ocean Vodka Organic Farm and Distillery tour can expect to sample the organic vodka as part of the excursion.

The tours first began in April of 2013 and run seven times a day, seven days a week.

Now Ocean Vodka samplings will be offered after daily tours in the designated tasting area bordering one of their organic sugar cane fields, says the distillery.

Tour times are 9:30, 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. as well as 12:30, 1:30, 2:30 and 3:30 p.m.

Tours include a guided walk-through of the martini garden, organic farm, cane fields, craft distillery and gift shop.

“The ability for our family to offer samples of our award-winning Ocean Vodka truly rounds out our organic farm and craft distillery tour experience,” said Shay Smith, founder and CEO of Ocean Vodka.

“The unique flavor profile of Ocean Vodka, with its distinctive mineral content, tastes even more delicious on the farm while overlooking the Pacific.”

The only 100% solar powered distillery in Hawai’i, the distillery claims to educate guests on the importance of organic farming for the conservation of land and ocean, green manufacturing and the production of spirits.

Entrance to tours is $10 a person for those 12 years and older, and includes a sampling with take-home souvenir Ocean Vodka shot glass for those 21 and over.
