VIDEO: Paige Alms Rides the Wave at Maui Film Festival

Paige Alms is featured in a documentary which premiered at the Maui Film Festival Sunday night.

She grew up on the island of Maui with one of the planet’s best big wave surf spots in her backyard and has become one of the world’s elite big wave surfers.

She recently was honored at theXXL Big Wave Awards  as the 2015 Billabong Women’s Best Overall Performance winner.

MauiNOW’s Malika Dudley caught up with the surfing phenom to talk about life, surf and her new documentary.
