The public is invited to participate in the making a mile long lei for Paris at 8 a.m. on Sunday morning, Nov. 22 at Nalu’s South Shore Grill in Kīhei, as part of a project launched by the Cynthia Rose Foundation.

Organizers say the lei will be sent to Paris “to remind the world of the existence and power of kindness, love and ALOHA – and to stand as a bright light to overpower the negativity in the world today.”

Organizers have connected with a small delegation of emerging youth leaders to present the lei at various events and locations in Paris during their trip to the United Nations COP21 Negotiations.
