West: Surf is ankle/knee high today for west shores without exposure to the swells. Exposures catching the swell will get up to waist/shoulder high with some plusses.
South: Surf is waist/shoulder high today at the best breaks on the sets and trending down.
Mid period northerly swell is expected to peak late Monday and early Tuesday. Minor northwest swell expected Wednesday and Thursday.
Our current south-southwest swell is expected to fade this week. Only minor pulses detected further out. Wednesday and Thursday waist high southerly mix expected.
Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
