West: Surf is waist/chest high and occasionally higher today out of the southwest. Spots from Kihei to around Olowalu/Lahaina will be smaller due to shadowing from the other islands.

South: Surf is waist/chest high today with the best breaks getting a bit higher on the sets.

Screen Shot 2016-06-19 at 10.02.00 PMSouth-southwest swell is filtering in today and tomorrow. A reinforcement out of the same direction will fill in Tuesday afternoon as well. This swell will peak Wednesday and hold into Thursday before fading Friday into the weekend.

Trade swell will bring choppy surf to northeast exposures.

Quiet in the North Pacific at this time with nothing of note generating swell energy for the foreseeable future.

Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
