Maui Surf Forecast
North: Surf heights are expected to be knee/waist high today, mainly around Hāna.
West: Surf heights are expected to be knee high today. At the best spots, few and far between, we could see some waist high+ sets.
South: Surf heights are expected to be knee high today. At the best spots, few and far between, we could see some waist high+ sets.
Trade wind swell is forecast to ease Monday for east facing shores.
Our modest south-southwest swell is lingering but dropping out by the middle of the work week. Minimal surf energy out of the South Pacific for most of the week. We could see a boost out of the south on Sunday. Another swell is possible for the 12th with another on its heels for the 15th. Will keep an eye on it.
Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
