Maui County offices at the One Main Plaza are closed along with the rest of the offices in the building due to a watermain break on Central Avenue today.

County offices at One Main include the Solid Waste Division, Office of Economic Development, Water Resources & Planning Division, Planning Department, IT Services Division, Zoning Administration & Enforcement, Housing & Human Concerns, Wastewater Division and Immigration Services.

Due to a break along a six inch waterline on Central Avenue, a number of Wailuku customers have been without water on Central Avenue, Ilina Street, Kaniela Street as well as parts of Vineyard and Market streets. Other customers have water but will experience low pressure today.

Department of Water Supply personnel have been on scene repairing the leak since early this morning and as of 10 a.m. today estimated it would take up to six hours to repair the break.
