Maui Rental Companies Merge, Now Accel Event Rentals

Island Rents and Paradise Event Rentals have merged and now go by Accel Event Rentals. The Oʻahu-based Accel bought the two rental companies in June. According to the company, they have streamlined operations, upgraded their technology, and added new inventory. Junior Siquiera, Accel Mauiʻs director of business development, said the Maui operation is keeping the best parts of the two rental companies and using the expertise of the Oʻahu team to improve their services.

“We are thrilled to join forces with Accel, a statewide leader providing rental support for the full spectrum of events, from intimate weddings to large-scale corporate happenings,” Siquiera said. “Our clients and staff are already benefiting from the synergy, and momentum is building as we grow together.”

Accel now has rental product and event staff based in both West and Central Maui. The company also has access to new, large-scale tents, new furniture, and a new line of china, flatware, glassware, linens, and table décor.
