A Small Craft Advisory is in effect through Monday at 6:00 p.m. for the ʻAlenuihāhā channel. Rough seas from 6 to 10 feet are expected along with east winds of 20 to 25 knots. Inexperienced mariners should avoid navigating in these conditions.

North: Waist to shoulder high waves are expected today. The best breaks could be a little bit bigger.

West: Pretty flat conditions are expected today.

South: Knee to waist high waves are expected today with standouts possibly getting up to chest high.

Our current west-northwest swell continues to slowly fade over the next couple of days.

Our current small south-southeast will continue to slowly taper off over the next few days. A small south-southwest swell is possible for the weekend but still pending storm development.

Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
