Maui Countdown to XTERRA 20th Anniversary Edition
Touted by race organizers as “the birthplace of off-road triathlon,” Maui was host to the first XTERRA race in 1996. The race featured just 123 participants and has since grown to include a sold-out field of 850 racers from 43 countries.
Countdown to XTERRA: Best Viewing and Live Updates
Spectators can view the race along Fleming Beach and at the Transition Area/Finish Line, located on the poolside lawn at the Ritz-Carlton Kapalua. Event organizers say the first place athlete is expected to finish at approximately 11:30 a.m. Event parking is at the ball field behind the preschool at Kapalua.
