Trades Bring Elevated 6′-8′ Surf to East Side

Strong trade winds will bring rough and elevated surf to the east facing shores of Maui and Molokai through 6 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 22, 2013.

WARNING: North Shore Surf 20 – 28 Feet

Surf will be in the 20 to 28 foot range along the north facing shores of Maui and Molokai; and 15 to 20 feet along the west facing shores of the Friendly Isle.

20 to 30 Foot Surf Brings Warning to North Shore

A High Surf Warning remains in effect for the north and west facing shores of Molokai, Niihau, Kauai and Oahu; and the north facing shores of Maui.

High Surf Warning North Shores of Maui

Surf is expected to build to 20-25 feet along the north facing shores, and 15 to 20 feet along the west facing shores.

High Surf Advisory Replaces Warning

Surf along the North shores will drop from the 18 to 24 foot level seen overnight to 14 to18 feet today. West shores will be in the 12 to 14 foot range.

High Surf on Maui as Weekend Swell Builds

A northwest swell is expected to reach Maui Saturday afternoon bringing advisory level surf.
