The University of Hawaii Mens Volleyball team today announced it will play on Maui next month. The February 12, 2011 game comes nearly a year after UH had to cancel a sold out match on the Valley Isle because of a tsunami warning.

The tsunami warning event on Saturday resulted in sewage spills to the ocean at three locations. Officials with the County of Maui identified the specific areas where the public should avoid the ocean until results of bacteriological tests are complete. Saturday’s University of Hawai‘i-BYU men’s volleyball match has been rescheduled for Monday at the Stan Sheriff Center.
