A blessing was held Thursday for the new Lahaina satellite office of the Division of Motor Vehicles and Licensing.  The new 11-hundred square foot site at the Lahaina Center nearly triples the size of the old facility.  Hours of the new satellite office will remain Monday – Friday, 8 – 10:45 a.m. and noon – 3:30 p.m., with two hours of validated parking for DMVL customers.

Services offered at the Lahaina DMVL office include: driver’s license renewal  and duplicates (Classes 1, 2 & 3); light vehicle road test (Class 3); driver’s license instruction permits and renewals; out-of-county and out-of-state vehicle transfers; motor vehicle registration renewals; duplicate motor vehicle registrations; certificate of title, ownership transfers, storage and junking; ordering of vanity license plates; taxicab driver’s permits; disabled parking placards (temporary and four years); dog licenses; recording of motor vehicle notice of transfer; bicycle and moped registrations; and business licenses for second-hand dealers, pawn brokers, scrap dealers and auctioneers.
