Practice rounds at the Mercedes-Benz Championship get underway today at Kapalua’s Plantation course. The season opening PGA tour event features a $5.5 million purse with a winner share of $1.1 million. The winner’s only event includes a pro-am tournament on Wednesday, with first round action to tee-off on Thursday and the final round set for Sunday
