COUNTY OFFICES TO CLOSE FOR STATEHOOD/LABOR DAY HOLIDAYS

All County of Maui offices will be closed on Statehood Day, Friday August 21, and on Labor Day, Monday, September 7, 2009 in observance of the holidays.

Statehood Day:

• Lanai Landfill: closed
• Central Maui Landfill: open 6 a.m. – noon
• Olowalu Recycling & Refuse Center: open 9 a.m. – noon
• Hana Landfill: open 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.
• Molokai Landfill & Recycling: open 8 a.m. – noon
• Waiehu Golf Course:  open for regular hours
• All County pools:  open for regular hours

Labor Day:

• Lanai Landfill: closed
• Olowalu Recycling & Refuse Center: closed
• Hana Landfill closed
• Molokai Landfill & Recycling: closed
• Central Maui Landfill: open 6 a.m. – noon
• Lanai refuse customers with Monday trash pickups will receive service on Tuesday.
• Waiehu Golf Course:  open for regular hours
• All County pools:  open for regular hours

The public is advised to call 270-8208 for daily recorded pool schedule information, which is updated by 9 a.m. seven days a week.
