HANA GENERAL PLAN MEETING TONIGHT: RESCHEDULED FOLLOWING FELICIA

The Maui County planning committee heads to Hana tonight for a committee meeting on the General Plan update.  The meeting was initially scheduled for last month, but travel concerns arising from Tropical Storm Felicia forced rescheduling.  Deliberations will focus on the Countywide Policy Plan, the first major component of the new Maui County General Plan.  The next component, the Maui Island Plan will be received in the fall.  The last overhaul of the plan was approved 18 years ago.  Tonight’s meeting begins at 6 p.m. at Helene Hall in Hana.
