The Maui Police Department arrested three Maui teens in connection with the burglary of Waihee Elementary School last week.

Two boys ages 14 and 16 from Wailuku, and a 14 year old Waihee boy were charged yesterday with eight counts of Burglary II and two counts of Attempted Burglary II.  They have since been released to the custody of their parents and the cases will be forwarded to Family Court for prosecution.

The charges stem from an incident that occurred sometime between November 5th and 7th when eight classrooms at Waihee were burglarized and two other classes had attempted break-ins.

Ten laptop computers and a document camera were taken during the course of the incident.  Authorities recovered all but one laptop.
