12/7/10 12:30p Traffic Update, Lahaina Maui

Motorists traveling on the Pali section of the Honoapiilani Hwy may experience minor delays.  There was a traffic accident reported about an hour ago that has since been cleared.

The accident occurred on the Lahaina side of the Pali.  The road is open, however, those on scene tell us traffic going into Lahaina was moving, but coming out remained heavy at around 12:30 p.m.

Authorities say tow trucks have already cleared the vehicles from the roadway.
