The two-vehicle crash occurred on November 19, 2010 on the Queen Ka’ahumanu Highway in North Kona.

Shakti Stream, 27, was driving north on the highway in a 1997 Toyota SUV, when she crossed the center-line and collided head-on with a 1996 Saab sedan traveling in the opposite direction.

Brennan, 27, was a passenger in the SUV.  Brennan, Stream, and the 47-year-old Waikoloa woman driving the sedan were all treated for serious injuries following the crash.

A standard investigation was conducted into the crash.  Results of the negligent injury investigation have since been forwarded to the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney, who will in turn determine if any charges are warranted.
