Multi-platinum rock group Daughtry performs live on Maui tonight (Feburary 18, 2011) at the Castle Theater.  The power group comes off of a successful Oahu concert in October, and returns to the state, this time to perform for Maui fans.

Doors open at 7 p.m., with the show scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m.

Daughtry’s self-titled debut album produced mega hits like “Gone,” “It’s Not Over,” and “Home.” The album sold more than four million copies world-wide, and earned the honors of 2007 Breakthrough Artist of the Year from the American Music Awards. Other awards include Best Pop/Rock Album, People Choice Award for Best Rock Song for “Home,” and Billboard Music Award for Top New Artist in 2007.

Daughtry is currently touring internationally in support of a second album called Leave This Town which debuted at #1 on the Billboard Hot 200 charts. Hits include ”No Surprise,” “Life After You,” and “September.”

Frontman Chris Daughtry joins bandmates Joey Barnes (drums/piano), Josh Paul (bass), and guitarists Josh Steely and Brian Craddock.

Tickets range in price from $33-$83. Tickets were still available this morning at www.mauiarts.org.
