I’o Wine Club Presents Fresh!

This Friday, March 25, I’o restaurant will showcase another one of its wine club events, featuring the freshest ideas from wine makers, mixologists and chefs. The event, appropriately named Fresh! will cost $30 and includes wine and food.

No reservations are required for the event, so convene at I’o’s brilliant waterfront location at Lahaina’s 505 on Front Street from 8 to 10 p.m. on Friday to indulge in the creations of Chef-partner James McDonald and his intelligently thought out pairings.

I’o’s wine presentation is a celebrated focal point of the restaurant. Glasses are poured at correct temperatures and the staff is trained weekly, making I’o one of the better Lahaina sources for a great wine experience.

In addition to quality wines and food, there will be live flamenco guitarists, a martini station incorporating fresh seasonal fruits such as mango and Kula strawberries and herbs and pupu straight from the restaurant’s upcountry O’o Farm, which proudly practices organic farming. Some dishes will include ahi ceviche and truffled egg bruschetta.
