Journalism students at Lahainaluna High School will participate in a day-long training workshop this Thursday, April 14.   PBS Hawai’i Vice President of Creative Services Robert Pennybacker and Director/Crew Chief Glenn Yamamoto will conduct the training session.

“With our guidance and mentoring from their teachers, students are learning how to gather information and tell stories about their community through digital media production,” said Pennybacker. “The communication skills that they acquire through this process will serve them well beyond this experience,” he said.

HIKI NŌ airs on Mondays at 5 p.m., with encores on Tuesdays at 12:30 p.m., Fridays at 9:30 p.m., Saturdays at 12:30 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m. on PBS Hawaii.  HIKI NŌ is also available for viewing online at www.pbshawaii.org/hikino.
