Honoapiilani Hwy Now OPEN Following Major Traffic Accident

The Honoapiilani Highway (Hwy 30) is now open in both directions. It was temporarily closed at around 8:30 p.m. due to a motor vehicle accident between Kenui and Keawe Streets.

The Honoapiilani Highway (Hwy 30) is partially closed at this time between Kenui and Keawe Streets due to a motor vehicle accident reported earlier this evening. South bound traffic is being diverted through Front Street at Fleming Road. The North bound lane was open as of 11:03 p.m.

Motorists traveling on the Honoapiilani Highway (Hwy 30) in West Maui, are advised of a temporary closure of the roadway between Kenui Street and Keawe Street due to a motor vehicle accident. The closure went into effect at 8:30 p.m. Traffic was being diverted through Front Street at last report. There was no estimated time on when the road would be reopened for normal traffic flow.
