As part of its recent corporate realignment effort, Hawaii Airlines has promoted Avi Mannis from within to an expanded leadership role as vice president of marketing.

“Avi has played an instrumental role in Hawaiian’s growth and expansion these past few years and we felt he was the perfect candidate to develop and oversee the strategies needed for Hawaiian to reach new customers in the markets we serve,” said Glenn Taniguchi, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Sales, in a written statement released by the company this week.

For the previous three years, Mannis served as vice president of revenue management and schedule planning and carried the responsibility of managing seat inventory, planning flight schedules, and establishing passenger fares for all of Hawaiian’s flights. Prior to that, he held the position of senior director of transformation and led initiatives related to process improvement, revenue generation, and corporate strategy.
