Kauai marketing firm, Tsunami Marketing, is celebrating their 20th anniversary with a plan to donate $20,000 in professional services, plus $20,000 in services from partner companies to a Hawaii-based non-profit organization for a future project.

“We want to help a Hawaii-based non-profit organization do something truly extraordinary for the greater Hawaii community,” Val Rekward, Managing Partner, Tsunami Marketing, said in a statement from the company today. “Tsunami Marketing and its partners want to support a non-profit organization that would make a discernable difference to the community.”

$40,000 worth of high quality marketing and advertising promotions and materials will be awarded to a non-profit in September of 2011 to kickoff a new campaign at the beginning of 2012. Entitled “20/20 Hawaii”, Tsunami Marketing’s program seeks qualifying non-profit organizations to submit an application by June 30, 2011.

The $40,000 worth of professional expertise covers a wide spectrum of online, print and visual communication tools. Tsunami Marketing specializes in brand development, logo design, web sites, print materials and retail design. Partners specialize in social media, public relations, copy writing, photography, visual communication and printing.

Non-profit organizations need to be established in Hawaii (not part of a national organization), need a 501 C 3 designation by the IRS, employ at least one full-time staff member, operate within a budget of $100,000 to $1,000,000 per year and not be a government organization. The application criteria are listed on the 20/20 Hawaii program website.
