Surf legend and chilled-out rocker Donavon Frankenreiter will perform for free this Saturday in a special acoustic performance in Ka’anapali.

The singer, who owns the Donavon Frankenreiter’s Margarita House, underneath TiaJuana’s Beach Cantina, announced the intimate gig on his Facebook page.

Frankenreiter has released four studio albums, including a 2004 self-titled debut, co-produced with good friend Jack Johnson and Beastie Boys collaborator Mario Caldato, Jr. His 2008 album featured guests including Ben Harper and G.Love, and his most recent release ‘Glow’ has seen him touring the globe to perform for his international fanbase.

The Margarita House is decked out in Frankenreiter’s own personal collection  of memorabilia; including vintage electric guitars, vinyl records, amps and more than 70 surfboards and the venue serves up a good selection of Mexican cuisine.
