The Hawaii Supreme Court has disbarred a Maui attorney, Vickery J. Russell.  The order was issued on Monday, May 23, 2011.

According to court records, the disbarment was based on Russell’s lack of objection to disciplinary proceedings filed against her, violations of the Hawai’i Rules of Professional Conduct involving three clients, her absence from the State of Hawai’i, and the fact that she no longer maintains a law practice in the state.

Russell was ordered to pay restitution as a condition of reinstatement.
