The Maui Canoe Club hosts a “Paddle for Food” drive on Friday, June 17, 2011.

Participants are asked to bring one or more non-perishable food items to be donated to the Maui Food Bank.  In exchange, they receive a free half-hour paddling session aboard one of the club’s outrigger canoes.

The club will host four separate paddling sessions that morning at 7:30, 8, 8:30 and 9 a.m.  Participants are asked to arrive at least 15 to 20 minutes early.
