Bag It: How Plastic Will Your Life Be?

The Surfrider Foundation Maui Chapter, hosts a screening of the plastic bag documentary, entitled, “Bag It.” The award winning movie has been recognized at film festivals across the nation.

What started as a documentary about plastic bags evolved into a wholesale investigation into plastics and their effect on waterways, oceans, and the environment. Filmmakers offer the public an opportunity to watch the film to decide how plastic your life will be.

After the movie, there will be a question and answer and talk story session.

The screening is tonight, Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at 6 p.m. at the Lahaina Civic Center.
