Maui Broncos Head to State Tournament

The 2011 Maui Bronco All Star Baseball Team will represent Maui at the State Tournament taking place June 30 to July 5, 2011 in Hilo, Hawai’i.

The team of 11 and 12 year olds represent the Maui Pony League and include: Jacob Mahon, Laakea-Maio Silva, Jace Luna, Waylon Golis-Bacos, Treston Carter, Bryant Nakagawa, Micah Jio, Taje Akana, and Kamuela Kaniaupio.

The boys are trying to raise an estimated $11,050 to cover accommodation  expenses.  In addition to traditional fundraising efforts, the team is also seeking monetary donations to help defer the cost of travel for players.  Donations can be made by contacting Andrea at 250-5643 or by emailing AKB808@gmail.com.

The boys will be accompanied by Coaches Darren Silva, Cedric Luna, Charlton Carter, and Calvin Chaves.
