Maui police have reopened Haliimaile Road following a vehicle accident near the General Store last night. The road was reopened at around 4 a.m. The closure went into effect at 10:15 p.m. Details of the accident are pending release.

Maui Police have closed Haliimaile Road in the area near the General Store following vehicle accident Tuesday night, July 12, 2011. The closure went into effect at 10:15 p.m. Authorities closed the road in both directions. There is no estimated time on when the road will be reopened.
