An estimated 50,000 juror questionnaires will be mailed out to residents on Maui.  Recipients have 10  days to complete and return the questionnaires, or face penalty.

The questionnaires are being sent out on August 8, 2011 to approximately 230,000 people across the state.

The Hawai’i State Judiciary mails juror questionnaires annually to persons who have a Hawaii state driver’s license, are registered to vote in the state, or pay Hawai’i state income tax. The questionnaires are used to help select individuals who may be eligible to serve as jurors in 2012.
