On Friday August 12, and Saturday August 13, Musical Voices Maui presents Mozart’s Vesperae Solennes de Confessore, the Bach Magnificat in D Major, and the Vivaldi Concerto for Two Trumpets, directed by Robert Wills.

From 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. enjoy over 60 chorale singers with orchestra perform major choral works. After the intermission, the audience will enjoy Bach’s Magnificat, which have been scored for soloists, choir and orchestra. Lynn Erickson, of the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, and Pam Humphrey will be joining the orchestra that night with their musicianship with the trumpet.

According to Musical Voices Maui, their summer concert, Mozart Requiem, played for over 600 people last year. This year, Kihei Baptist Church will ring with voices and instruments for two nights.
