High Surf Advisory in Effect for South Shore

The National Weather Service in Honolulu issued it’s 6th Surf Notification today, stating that yesterday’s High Surf WARNING has been canceled.
A High Surf ADVISORY is back in effect until 6 p.m. Thursday evening.
This afternoon, 10-15 foot waves died down to waves at 8-12 feet. Waves on Thursday will further diminish to 6-8 feet.
Advisories and notifications are available 24-hours a day on the Maui County Automated Information System (AIS) by calling 986-1200.
