The one-hour special features stops at the Maui Brewing Co., where host Zane Lamprey taps his own beer and and checks out unique drinking specialties and time-honored traditions, with a Maui twist.

Lamprey also samples Island 808 Vodka at Leilani’s on the Beach, and learns about kava root at Wow Wee Maui Kava Bar and Grill.

The HDNet series features Lamprey and his buddy Steve McKenna, as they travel the US in search of the local drinks and drinking customs.  A road trip unlike any other, Lamprey and McKenna travel to cities like Monterey, Miami, Tampa, Cape Cod, Washington D.C., Seattle, Santa Barbara and Aspen among many others.

“Drinking Made Easy” airs Wednesday nights at 8 p.m. ET on HDNet.  HDNet networks are available nationally via DIRECTV and Dish Network and locally in Hawaii on Hawaiian Telcom.
