Hana Structure Fire Under Investigation

A structure fire on Ulaino Road in Hana over the weekend caused an estimated $14,000 in damages.
The fire was first reported at 6:37 p.m. on Saturday, November 26, 2011, about two miles down the road from the highway.
The 500 square foot structure was fully involved and collapsed when Engine-7 and Mini-7 from Hana arrived on scene at about 7:03 p.m.
The fire was called under control at 7:14 p.m., and fully extinguished by 3:49 a.m.

No injuries were reported, and cause of the fire is under investigation by both the Maui Fire and Police Departments.
