Vehicle Break-ins on Maui Nov. 27 to Dec. 3, 2011

There were a total of nine vehicle break-ins on Maui over a seven day period between November 27 and December 3, 2011.
There were two incidents each in Kahului, Kihei, and Wailea with one case each in Lahaina, Napili and Wailuku. Most of the incidents were reported at public places including malls, public parking lots, and condominium complexes.
Types of vehicles involved in the various island incidents included: two Dodge Chargers, a Ford Ranger, Dodge Neon, Jeep Cherokee, Volkswagen Van, Nissan SUV, Toyota Echo and Toyota Tacoma..

Kahului:
- Tuesday, 11/29/11, 5:39 p.m.: East Kaahumanu Avenue at the Maui Mall. 2003 Green Ford Ranger.
- Tuesday, 11/29/11, 10:35 p.m.: Kaahumanu Avenue at the Queen Kaahumanu Shopping Center. 2010 Silver Dodge Charger.
Kihei:
- Saturday, 12/3/11, 8 a.m.: South Kihei Road at the Kihei Boat Ramp. 2002 Blue Dodge Neon.
- Saturday, 12/3/11, 8:30 p.m.: Walaka Street at Kalama Terrace. 1994 White Jeep Cherokee.
Laahaina:
- Thursday, 12/1/11, 4:08 p.m.: Mala Wharf Road. 1990 White Volkswagen Van
Napili:
- Monday, 11/28/11, 5:01 p.m.: Lower Honoapiilani Road at the Papakea Resort. 2010 White Dodge Charger.
Wailea:
- Tuesday, 11/29/11, 3 p.m.: Wailea Alanui Drive at Wailea Ekahi II. 2011 Red Nissan SUV.
- Friday, 12/2/11, 3 p.m.: Makena Road at Maluaka Beach Park. 2003 Silver Toyota Echo.
Wailuku:
- Monday, 11/28/11, 12 a.m.: Nipo Street. 1993 Red Toyota Tacoma.
