15 Vehicle Break-ins on Maui Dec. 25 to 31, 2011

There were a total of 15 vehicle break-ins reported on Maui over a seven day period between December 25 and 31, 2011.
There were five incidents in Kahului; three in Kihei; two in Maalaea; and one incident each in Lahaina, Napili, Paia, Waikapu and Wailuku.
Types of vehicles involved in the various island incidents included: 2 Toyota Tacomas, 2 Toyota Carollas, 2 Ford F-250s, and a variety of other vehicles.

Kahului:
- Sunday, 12/25/11, 11:15 a.m.: Ohaa Street. 1988 Green Mercury Cougar.
- Wednesday, 12/28/11, 1:30 p.m.: Amala Place just past the Kahului Waste Water Treatment Plant. 2007 Maroon Toyota Tacoma.
- Thursday, 12/29/11, 7:30 a.m.: Mokulele Highway near the Central Maui Baseyard. 2005 Gray Ford F250.
- Wednesday, 12/28/11, 8 p.m.: Makalii Street. 2000 White Chevy Aveo.
- Friday, 12/30/11, 2:02 p.m.: Kaonawai Place at Enterprise. 2010 Red Ford Escape.
Kihei:
- Friday, 12/30/11, 11 a.m.: South Kihei Road at Kalama Park. 2010 Blue Dodge Caravan.
- Saturday, 12/31/11, 6 p.m.: Awa Place. 2001 Black Toyota Tacoma.
- Saturday, 12/31/11, 6:30 p.m.: Huaka Street. 2007 Gray Toyota Corolla.
Lahaina:
- Friday, 12/30/11, 11:30 p.m.: Lokia Street. 1989 Silver Toyota Corolla.
Maalaea:
- Thursday, 12/29/11, 3 p.m.: Maalaea Road near the Maui Ocean Center north-facing parking lot. 2006 Silver Volkswagen Rabbit.
- Wednesday, 12/28/11, 11:45 a.m.: North Kihei Road. 2008 Silver Mazda four-door sedan.
Napili:
- Monday, 12/26/11: 5:46 p.m.: Lower Honoapiilani Road at the Napili Kai Beach Resort. 2011 White Dodge Challenger.
Paia:
- Monday, 12/26/11, 9:29 p.m.: Hana Highway at the Flatbread Company. 1997 Brown Ford Ranger.
Waikapu:
- Thursday, 12/29/11, 8:30 a.m.: East Waiko Road. 2006 Gold Ford F250.
Wailuku:
- Sunday, 12/25/11, 9:30 p.m.: Makoa Place. 1985 White Oldsmobile two-door sedan.
