The War Memorial Stadium in Wailuku will be closed beginning on January 19th to accommodate repairs.

Officials with the County of Maui Department of Parks and Recreation say the closure is necessary in order for workers to repair and repaint the track surface.

The stadium is expected to reopen in the spring.
