Site work is under way for the new $7.1 million Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints at Maui Lani. The new facility, designed by GYA Architects of Wailuku, is located on a 3.5 acre site. Plans call for a 27,000 square foot building as well as a raised assembly space and recreational area according to Alvin Yoshimori, President of GYA.

“Completion is expected in about a year,” said Arie Camphouse, Project Superintendent for Jacobsen Construction of Salt Lake City, the building contractor.
